Maruti A-Star is a A-segment car engineered keeping in mind the standard of European markets.A-Star is a five door hatchback and will be exported to 150 countries. Comes with new KB series 998 cc engine which develops 67 Bhp of power with 90 Nm of torque.This KB series engine is Euro 5-compliant with carbon emission. Rear leg room is less and tall ones will find it difficult.From drivers point of view A-Star is a comfortable car and the meters are easy to read,the only drawback is that the dashboard is high and my obstruct the view of short drivers.It comes in three variants Lxi,Vxi and Zxi.Zxi is loaded with many features like Power windows,Power steering,Remote central locking ,Driver and Passenger air bags,ABS,EBD,CD player with 4 speakers,Dash mounted speedo meters,Remote boot and Remote fuel filler,Fog lamps and Rear Defogger.Maruti has entered into an agreement with Nissan to sell A-Star under the former brand name in the US market.
